are these the same as the xr3i bar the recaros?

are the difficult to find or sort after?

same as mk5 xr3i? same material design I think but the xr3i had wing back seats where as the rs2000 had the recaro design. As for sough after, well they're not gold dust but they are a popular mod for mk5 escorts owners with standard interior.
