What do you use to Mop a car?
The guy who mops my cars is moving away so I am gonna buy a machine polisher and need some advice on pads and what compound to do a mop - this is mainly on cars 5-10 years old that just need a right good polish and may have some light scratches, rough paint faded panels etc.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Not better but different.
The technology has moved on a lot and a good finish can be had from a DA with less risk.
Best bet is to spend a few hours on detailing world reading through the tuitions and guides.
Personally, I use my rotary less and less these days although every tool has its place (I've got 4 different machine polishers and they all serve a purpose).

Use rotary for cutting
Use DA to Finnesse the job, de hol it
It took me a while to pick it up, but I now do it as park of my job
I have to polish new luxury cars to perfection
It's eva right or it isnt
At home I've got a rotary
A 15mm and 21mm throw DA
At work we use small, and big rotaries
And small Rupes, and 21mm throw Rupes Bigfoot's
