Firsty how fresh is the paint on the saph? You shouldnt really be using a machine on fresh paint.

The dodo one you posted has good reviews on dw etc. I bought a silverline rotary as the next step up from my da. quite a heavy machine but works really well. I take it you have done this type of thing before?
Also what colour are both the cars?

The paints about 8 months old but the car has been stored in a car coon and not left out in the weather,

If I was you as a novice I'd try a DA polisher first mate.

Sim 180 rotary at entry level prices but it is heavy . Das 6 for a DA .

Where from and have you got a model number ?
cheers

Have to agree a da will be your best bet. This way you will gain knowledge and corret technique. Also get great results if used with the correct polish/ pad. I started with the kestrel dad 6 pro, stay away from the normal one as it doesn't have much torque and Boggs down easily.

Got mine from i4 detailing in a mezerna kit.

DA is safe and will achieve same results will just take a bit longer.
DAS6 is very good, g220 is also good just more expensive.

I found the g220 DA to have a big 'kick' compared to the das6 . i prefer the later its much more comfortable imo.
