I'm getting the bufty urge!!!

As above but i dont really know what products i should start using etc.

I havent done any "polishing" before but would like to start detailing mt cars properly. What sort of orbital polisher should i buy and what products should i go for, including the interior/ engine bay etc.

Got the urge after looking at polishing bliss threads and the feature on the cossy in fast ford.

Remember i am a beginer!

See the stickies at the top of this section for our recommended routines for various coloured Ford paints, and this link for details about how best to polish Ford paint using a DA polisher...

Once you've read up, check out this DA polisher kit, put together with Ford paint specifically in mind...

If ever you're passing through Aberdeen with work, then feel free to swing by our unit for some one to one advice - we're just 10 minutes from the airport.

I work in africa mate, wheres the unit anyway, i might be up and about sometime seeing mates. I dont actually own a ford now (BMW). And its pretty tired looking now, thought i would try and make it look a bit better, please remember that its my old workhorse with 155k on it! Thought it would be better to practice on this than fkn up a nice car! ;)

We're in Kintore, just 10 mins from Aberdeen airport. If its for a BMW, then you would need the hard paint kit. See here for details...

When it comes to choosing protective products, check out the stickies at the top of the Concours d'élégance section; these make suggestions about what to choose for various colours.
