r thompson May 15, 2008 06:22 PM

brake cleaner or wd40 works well

moonstone_cossie May 15, 2008 09:42 PM

dosent it say the only thing you cant put on samco's is wd40?? i think i read that somewhere.

i normally use some soapy water the same as you wash the car with just spray some on and give it a rub with a microfiber.

PF Dave May 15, 2008 09:52 PM

Baby wipes and warm soapy water.

I've been guilty of WD40'ing some in the past, but that's actually what can cause the colour to go iffy... despite it being a quick and easy short-term fix.

i used back to black spray on mine the other day and they cleaned up a treat. i'll have a go of the baby wipes next time :)
