First detailing attempt.....
I bought myself a new to me car in white and wanted to see if I could get I better shine to the paintwork, having never properly cleaned a car before I visited Halfords and bought some tcut for some very minor swirl marks, clay bar shampoo and some maguires wax,
The clay took quite some time but I was really impressed with what it removed

After pics
I think it's come out well but I'm considering another coat of wax, will it make any difference?

Nice car. You can do a Lot better with 3m compounds, a da and some decent wax after. Looks nice though and a new car only needs the factory crap correcting.

I hope my post did not come across as dissing your work, I am sorry if it did...the car looks perfect to me, I was just meaning that you can do a really good job with the pro products.

The Wax just helps protect the work you have done and seals the paint

ALSO, it is worth buying a clay bar for a white car as it will help you remove things like tar stains off the road etc.

If you use cut, then fine then superfine with the correct pads on a DA you would be amazed at the results....especially on a dark car.
