Just got my wee lass a tablet, got a fella to put some films on an sd card and all is good, only thing is I now wanna put these on a disc to watch on her DVD but not as easy as I thought....... Got windows vista and thought all i had to do was put card in laptop and it would all become clear.........I'm stuck and I'm a dummy......

You bought her a tablet, which one?

Does the tablet take SD cards?

Whats not easy about putting the DVDs to disc?

Why do you want them on DVD anyway?

Do you have a card reader for the SD card to plug into the Laptop?

Vista shouldnt matter regards to moving the DVD from SD card to disc.

Do you have a DVD rewriter on the laptop?

Sorted I am an IT wiz

so what you've said is a bit like:
