Saving your PS3's Game data....

Basiclly can i save all my Game saves that i have on my HD to another device such as a PC or something?

Hi Lee, yes you can do this. Basically you need a laptop hd reading device which is called a USB SATA device? From there you can remove the ps3's hd, place it in the sata drive and access all the files within. I think your game saves will open in notepad. Once you get your game saves to this format you can then also edit the files which i think is how people where cheating on cod4.

Or get a USB hard rive caddy with a drive in it and connect to the PS3 and do a backup!

You cannot change usernames (Setup new account) and move your saves over :wall: Other than that you can save it onto any external device that plugs into the PS3. Saved mine on a SD memory card :)

I saved mine onto my 1 gig USB flash drive, very easy to do :)
