problems with dvd R's
 

can anyone help, i recorded a bunch of DVDs on my panasonic dvd recorder and they play on my player but on nothing else including my computer, it comes up as a blank disc with nothing showing but clearly there is?

cant get hold of whats on these discs again so dont know what to do?

It's possible they were recorded in VR Mode (Video Recording Mode) which means they haven't been finalised, and as such only the device that recorded to them will be able to see the data.....

I could be completely wrong tho - but I remember reading something like this before :?

yeh thats sounds possible, so can discs be finalised even after they have been recorded?

Should be able to. Stick one in your recorder/player and have a look in the menu's - should be something there.....
