Hi there

I have joined Passionford and I am making my first post because I am selling my 2002 (52 plate) Focus ST in Magnum Grey. I wanted to offer it to Passionforders because this is a very clean example and deserves to be seen first by people 'in the know', rather than alongside the tired old chaff you see on ebay.

I have taken some initial photos, which are below, but I was intending to take some more over the weekend. I just thought I would get it up on the sale boards early in case anyone was interested.

I won't go in to all the details because you guys know what you're looking at or what to ask me if you have any particular questions. At this stage I will mention the following:

- It has done 93,519 miles and is in very tidy condition, inside and out, and under the bonnet.
- It has 12 months MOT on it
- The Cambelt and water pump was replace 5,000 miles ago.
- It has Eibach springs, which runs it 25mm lower than standard
- It has a full set of service stamps. It was last serviced at 90,102 miles
- I have kept all receipts from when I bought it in January 2014
- It has no rust

It looks in nice condition and seems you have looked after it. For the asking price I think it should sell quickly.

Yep looks tidy if it was truly no rust and you where local I would be tempted as a usable ford.

Three door with some options would be nice to pick up as a future investment. I remember buying xr3i’s for £100, sierras for £50 The last 4x4i I bought was only £150

If we had only realised how much they would go up in value back in the 1980s!!! I sold a Mk2 Lotus Cortina with a new big valve engine in it for £3500!! Cortina Savage 1600e Genuine Uren in immac condittion for £3800!! Crystal ball would have been handy!!!

I see st170s in all types of condition from show stoppers, well modded to track versions and most of all when I tear them apart on average 2 a week lol. looks decent example

Ive got my eyes on 2 ST170s sitting up no mot etc. Black 3 door that’s rough but got the full leather climate etc and a silver 5 door. Got a silver 5 door derv as a daily so that’s where all the bits are going
Both within a mile of each other but just can’t get any answer yet :-( I’m persistent tho

Looks a clean car this. I used to have a 3dr one with both climate and custom packs.
I bought mine for 600 quid and sold it for 900. It's the only car I've ever made money one.
