Mondeo ST220 2006 Low Miles High Spec SOLD

You just need that one person mate. Mine's literally having it's mot as we speak. I drove it down there this morning and it's a fantastic drive, so quiet and powerful, drives as straight as a die and with all the toys too. I've had quite a few Mk3s and this one is definitely the best overall car.

ps Like your X Sport by the way, I've got one too, but mine is the earlier spec on a 2010, and the 2.0 version. But I do like it, although it's quite a heavy old bus. They feel very substantial though, and again, it's got all the toys including the satnav.

You're not kidding. It'll sell mate, really looks a lot of car, especially for £750!
I'm always totally honest with my cars and I always make them the best they can be. I think the problem is a lot of people don't appreciate that, and would rather buy a right pile of crap so long as it's cheap, rather than spending a bit more and getting a proper car that then doesn't need a fortune spending on it. Usually the first serious person that views my cars buy them just because when they actually see them compared to others they've viewed they realise mine always have the money spent on them, and they're looked after.
But it's up to them at the end of the day.....I do get annoyed with the chancers though, especially when they get arsey when you say no when they offer you a stupid price. I had that the other week, I literally said to the guy in the end that I wasn't going to read or reply to any more of his messages so he might as well not bother. And again, the first person that saw the car loved it and bought it, and for the right money!

I had a lad interested in it yesterday. He lives in London so he's a long way away from where I live. I've sent him loads of pics of the car. I'm just waiting to hear back from him now.
I will be very surprised if he comes to have a look/buy it.

Someone always buys them in the end mate, just a case of that one person.
Mine's all ready to go now, I drove it the other day and it is fantastic to drive, as straight as a die, quiet, and with toys galore! I thought it if didn't sell I might put a Miltek and lowering springs on it, but it's just lovely as it is totally standard. Oh well, we shall see. I think people see the price and think, oh, I can get one cheaper than that, and you can, but its false economy, because most of them are horrendous and will cost an arm and a leg to sort out. As soon as I saw this one I knew I had to have it, you can just tell when a car's been looked after. And I've just spent a lot on it with the consumable items generally just to take it up that bit better. Aside from possibly an oil change it literally needs nothing.

I hate the chancers out there now, every so often we get someone email work saying will we send them free stuff as they either can't afford it or there other half won't let them spend the money.
If someone asks how much and you say 750, if they respond 500 then respond back 850 and keep going up. No point even having them turn up as you know they can't afford it.

I've just been messed about again with my car. I spent a while taking pics of all the paper work for my mondeo and taking pics of the underneath. He was suppose to be coming by train tomorrow. He's just text me saying there is a family emergency and he's gutted he can't wait it. I said I will keep the car for him but he's just made up excuses. This is the 3rd time now. When I sold my Puma and ST170 a few years ago. There was no of this messing about.

Not just you mate, I've had the same today. Guy mailed me wanting more pics, did them and told him lots more detail about the car, and even sent him pics of all the documentation that comes with it, then he mails saying 'That looks really nice but I can't buy it at the moment and good luck with the sale'. I don't get it.
Maybe the weekend and people haven't got anything better to do?

I managed to do all I wanted to do today anyway, and I guess I can send those pics to someone else. I just don't see why people do it though, surely they should have better things to do too, or perhaps not?
To be honest the only time I believe people are genuine is when they actually come and view the car and the money is in my hand.
