Selling my trusty old golf gti as I now have a new car. I have had this since 2009 and it's been one of if not the most reliable car I'm ever likely to own. It has no service history with it as the previous owner never sent it me like they promised.. I am a mechanic by trade and it has been serviced every year. Recently has had a pair of new tyres on the rear. Car has mot until Feb 2017. 4 Previous owners. Hpi clear. Had a new water pump and belt at the end of last year. It's been sensibly modified and benefits from a twin capacity side mount intercooler, uprated diverted valve by forge, silicone breather hoses as these are known to fail so I put uprated ones on for piece of mind, k and n panel filter and a stage 1 remap. I would say it's around the 200-210bhp mark as it's the AUM engine code with the better k03s turbo fitted. Lowered on koni springs 40mm all round and is really comfy to drive not crashy. I have upgraded the front brakes to bigger 312mm discs from the audi tt these are still like new. The interior has full leather heated recaros in great condition. A boost gauge in the RH air vent. Digital climate control. Cd player. Exterior wise the car is not immaculate but is well presented there are stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet also a couple of scuffs on the corners of the front bumper. Small rust patch on the osr arch that has been there as long as I've had it and never got any worse. Tailgate handle has a 20p piece size of rust next to the handle common on the mk4 and the offside door mirror back paint is flaking off. Milage is 155k nearly 156k I average around 30-40mpg on the motorway traffic dependant.
