Lovely condition mk4/xr3
£1750 - bargain
MINT mk4 escort/xr3 proper time warp, NO RUST..!! Perfect reshell.. Dry stored for 10 years from 2002-2012..!! Original windows with reg on them including windscreen, perfect boot floor, turrets, battery tray, arches, fuel filler neck..
Loads of history, fully polybushed, Full sportex exhaust system straight through from the manifold and decat, full respray in performance blue, lovely cage..
OZ racing wheels, 60mm Koni shocks and springs, New pads and discs .new tie rod ends and track control arms .new drums . Front and rear pioneer speakers with jvc head unit .
Hawk alarm system (which is thatcham approved for cheaper insurance) with remote start from key.
Tinted rear lights ..
in the last 2 weeks has had the following:
Engine flush and oil change
Oil filter change
Spark plug and lead change
Choke cable changed
Light recondition of the carb
All so now the engine is running sweet as it had a slight misfire
Reconditioned the rear brake drums, stripped down, sanded and hammerite
Minor paint correction and touch up to several scratches
Refitted the NSR spring as it had slipped off the cup..
Re hung the exhaust with 2 new power flex bushes and polished with brasso
Re fitted interior floor carpet,
Re earthed the alarm as it was faulty causing the battery to drain if it wasn't started for 2 or more days ...
Sourced a new sunroof catch from ford that is being delivered this week..
All so now it's fully running and everything works how it should
I bought it, restored several parts and issues and was going to put a zetec engine in.. But the misses is pushing for our first family holiday, so needs must .. will be gutted to see it go
Its a 1.3, with 53775 miles.!! 9 months MOT..would make a perfect RS reshell or great base to build from

If it's a real xr3i then it's got the wrong engine...... If it's got the right engine it's not an xr3i
