new pics

Just to be perfectly open and honest ive taken pics of the worst bits of the car as people may be traveling a fair distance to view and not going to lead anyone on, this is a nice fresh engine d powerful car which is mechanically sound but needs a little paint and attention to the rear arches like they all do.Car wasn't tarted up as id rather buy a car and paint myself rather than someone do a cheap job and hide stuff.Hope my honesty doesn't go against anyone interested but that's what it is.Was washed prior to these pics and not fully valets which it will if sold.

Was asked for Dyno info, these are Harvey's printouts of the dyno and mapping run and figures, think it's a 55 trim on the turbo so spools up nice and early ....

The engine alone must be worth £5-6k, that sounds like a bargain to me!

I'm quite interested in this car I'm just trying to work out the logistics of bringing it back into the UK.

I've had a look at how to register the car back in England and read that you don't have to pay import duty if you have the paperwork for the car when it was exported.

Have you got the following:

  1. Original bill of sale showing VAT paid if any.
  2. Original V5 (logbook).
  3. Carnet de Passage. Make sure this is stamped by Customs before leaving the UK. They will stamp the top right hand (exit) box and the left hand (entry) box will be cancelled.
  4. Bill of Lading or Waybill for outward voyage if vehicle is shipped by sea (but not by ferry).

To be honest I'm not sure if it was ever deregistered as I did a plate search today and the cars still listed .
A friend of mine sold his escos back to the UK recently and I believe it cost a few hundred only, I'm waiting for him to get back to me with details . I'll pm my messenger details if you want more info .

Even with paint issues, surprised this hasn't sold!?

Love the 1st of the new pics, side on rear qtr, highlighting the used Saff post washing issue; Wash, leather dry, then the C oiler trim pisses water down the rear qtr!? Lol

Good idea that! I normally give it a couple of blows, or slide the corner of a chamois under the trim to draw the water out...

Ok, after a few requests from lads wanting to know about the condition of the underside and me not having a pit or access to a ramp I booked the car in for an Nct ( Irish national car test). I didn't prep it as all I wanted checking was the floor integrity but was surprise when it flew through bar a tca bush and front driveshaft coupling.

So the car is ready now for viewing for anyone that's serious
