Where are you moving to in Aus mate? I live in Adelaide. I have several RS owning friends throughout the country now.
It's easy enough to bring and there aren't many around but just FYI that would be worth around $50k's worth landed. On a good day you might get that back but not necessarily. If you don't care about residuals then it doesn't matter.
Good luck.

Known of this car for a long time, when Barry had it,up until him selling it about ten years ago. He had acces to a ramp, at work so it was cleaned underneath regularly, always spotless when he came to the Surrey meets / shows
I remember he'd gone to town with the shiny stuff!? Was a lovely car when I knew it, don't seem to of changed much!?

tbh its one of them if i import it into OZ it will be getting air con fitted to it as i have all the stuff here to do it with and i will just use it now and again and when the market picks up over there i can either sell in OZ or ship back to the UK.
Its that clean of a car every time i look at it i think ...should i really be selling this ???? its even cleaner than my mallard green one and that has not long had a full respray ! lol

Like I say Stu it's even cleaner than my reciently fully resprayed mallard one .... I'm looking at it now and thinking I must have a screw loose for selling it ! But if it sells then I suppose I can say I've enjoyed owning it but if it doesn't sell then for me I'm not that bothered as it's just stunning to look at

It's in the best colour! I did consider maybe buying it off of Barry when he sold it, but couldn't really of afforded it. At least, if it does sell, you have another! My dads is mallard, it's a lovely colour, my 2nd favourite to white...

Hello mate.
I still have my 3 dr but it's in Scotland for now. I might look at bringing it over in the next year or so. I brought an M3 across instead and ran that for a while but sold it off.
There's one moonstone 3 dr does the rounds and shows here. Total mess of a thing. Good condition but cheesy stickers, shite wheels etc. There's deffo a red esc cos too because I've spoken to the owner but not seen the car. The scene is quite quiet compare to the likes of Queensland where lots are on the go

That is one thing that is good here, you can do what you like with your car and you wont get pulled over unless you are driving stupidly.
The climate there would make driving your Cosworth without air con pretty uncomfortable in the Summer and your cooling system would need to be spot on as well.

What are the police like now regarding modified cars ? I know they used to be hard on you if your car had been altered from standard. Last time I was over they stopped quite a few cars on the way out of the show and gave defect notices to some of them.

Seeing as I haven't had a modified car yet it's hard to say. I'm always shit scared of the cops and getting caught speeding though In the UK I'd regularly do 150 mph on my motorbike. Now I get heart palpitations at doing 200 kph
See how it goes when I bring my Sierra across.
Andy
What's the deal mate? You left Aus already?
