New parts fitted: Wishbones, track rod ends, ball joints, drop links, refurbed calipers
Bad points
I'm selling as spares or repairs / Project as she does require some work:
Start motor has packed in, it just clicks, starts with a tow runs ok. Quick little car. Doesn't idle great but doesn't cut out, seems to be lumpy but as soon as you press the throttle this is gone.
Manifold gasket is blowing and exhaust is rattling at the rear
Various bits on the body with chips, scratches, surface rust etc. See the pics
When the clutch is fully in it is only half in, needs a new ratchet. NO slipping it's the opposite it doesn't engage enough, still drives fine.
Fuel guage doesn't work, all the others do
Boot lock doesn't open but can be opened from inside
Tracking needs done
I have all 4 matching wheels, one was punctured so I put on the spare which is in the pics, I will have this sorted before she goes.
There is an oil leak
Radiator has a minor leak at the bottom
Plus points are obviously it has alot of good bits on her, she is SOLID with no welding required.
Would make a brilliant project car. I have tried to list every fault so people know exactly what they are getting. A little love and this will be a very cool little van. The shell is registered as a Ford Fiesta Popular 1.1 which will need changing.

May swap / part ex but prefer a cash sale.

the van used to be a flyer ,
my pal picked it up in liverpool as a ex bt van , painted it vw silver then put all the running gear on it , it used to have a set of fancy cams and pullys in it , 4 branch , s2 lsd box and a chip that took the limiter of it so just kept going in every gear and had 15 inch escort gti alloys back then
he then got it painted that colour for some reason then the guy in the local chippy offered him £3300 or thee abouts for it so sold it
used to go really well as i found out the hard way when he pulled about a 200 yard gap on me in my redtop nova which i thought was quick at the time
good luck with the sale anyway
as has all the good bits just needs tidyed up by the looks of it

only faults temp sensor in PUMP is faulty and cannot be changed, would need new pump fitting, (ebay about £100) what it does is when its cold in a morning it wont rev properly, let it idle for 2-3 mins and then its fine,
ive ran it like that for the past year.
other fault, oil cooler needs changing,
other than that its a straight van,

first rule never agree til deposit of some sort is in your account or hand ,had some one ask to buy my mk3 escort on bike carbs last week ,deffo wanted it but wouldnt pay a deposit to me to keep it ,i said if its still here next week then you can have it but its first come first serve .

yes i am a nob ,just seen it as i was having a read over the description ,im going to pass at moment as my car has developed some issues from last night (no laughing ryan if your reading this) whilst down in montrose so i need to sort it and if i were to buy yours im in same boat as i am now except mine does start when cold ,but it may be starter again been cooked ,but this time the battery light is on which is weird ,will check it out tonight but i cannot commit to another broken car at this point in time
