90'(G) - R32 Skyline GTR(ish) Drifter - £4000ono - Cambs

Quick story about what the car is. Its an original GTR, Everything is GTR apart from the engine, gearbox and front seats. All running gear, brakes, shell, interior etc is r32 GTR. Basically the RB26 blew up and was replaced with an rb20det and RWD gearbox. So you get all the great looks and extra GTR bits like brakes etc without the GTR costs and temperamentalness(is that even a word?). The shell is VERY VERY low mileage, only 60,000km on the clocks, no back up but nothing to believe otherwise and they are the original GTR clocks.

MOT - Jan 2012
Tax - July 2011

Engine:
RB20DET removed from low mileage import car. Hybrid version of standard turbo, steel exhaust wheel and currently running 1 bar of boost. Its fantastically fast and super smooth. Running a blitz access ecu. Stainless tubular manifold, apexi 3" full exhaust system, ported standard elbow(so much better than crap stainless jobbies), K&N filter behind carbon fibre heat shield. GTR front mount intercooler with gReddy hard pipes. Ported and polished throttlebody. Adjustable actuator. Splitfire coilpacks and iridum NGK plugs. Lots of other bits and bobs i cant quite remember but its fantastic to drive! No turbo smoke, no rattles nothing its a fantastic engine. Estimated to be running around 300hp, fantasticly fast smooth power deliver.

Gearbox:
SR20 gearbox with the RB bellhousing, its got a bit of a whine in second and third but been like it since i got it and done 3 drift days in it and it hasn't got any worse at all so nothing to worry about. Poly gearbox mount. Driftworks braided clutch line. Exedy paddle clutch which is fantastic with lots of life left. Customs speedo cable to mate to GTR clocks as SR20 usually has electric speedo

Running Gear:
Coilovers, not sure of the make but was told they came off chunks 4 door drift car. They are japanese coilovers and they are absolutely fantastic. Height an damping adjustable, pillowball top mounts. Give a nice ride but fantastic when driving hard or skidding! Best coilovers i have ever driven on. Huge 4 pot GTR brakes on the front with nearly new discs and pads, 2 pots on the rear and seperate shoe handbrake setup(fantastic for a bit of handbrake entry!). Driftworks hicas eliminator kit(full kit not just lockout bar). Tein tension rods, steering rack spacers and lock stops ground down so great lock. New recent wheel bearing on passenger front. 2 way NISMO diff, locks absolutely fantastic every time never failed, gives a fantastic feel the best diff i have ever drifted on.

Wheels:
18" Rota GTRs painted ford purple velvet, 18x8 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rear 225/40/18s all round with good tread. 25mm bolt on spacers all round sits lovely and looks awesome!

Interior:
All in great condition no damage anywhere, Apexi 60mm 2 bar boost gauge, external water temp gauge(probe in top hose), climate control, electric windows, power steering, apexi rev meter on steering column, rarer 320kph GTR intruments, carbon fibre wrapped centre console, 3 gauge din slot, climate control, ash tray etc etc. Spin off button on handbrake, big JDM gearknob and gaiter. Good speaker system and JVC headunit.

Bodywork:
All the usual GTR stuff, wider body, gtr bumper with nismo vents, carbon lower cooling panel, cold air feed. Satin black bonnet and boot lid. The bodywork isnt in fantastic condition, usually 20+ year old jap stuff, some iffy laquer etc. But not huge peeling bits just some that arent quite right, basically its hard to describe but it doesnt detract from the overall look of the car at all and im perfectly happy to take it to shows where it gets masses of attention i just want to be 100% honest.

Pretty much everything i can think to say about it really. Its great for a lot of things, skids well, goes well, looks well etc

Will come with skid wheels and tyres if you want them - 12 x 16" standard s14 wheels and tyres

Price is : £4000ono Really only interested in cash but would consider swap/deal for old ford.
