Very well spec'd, 2.1 zetec turbo ERST.
Advertising on behalf of a friend ( a fellow gold member on here )
Where do i start? I've worked on this car for Dave, for many years through all conversions and upgrades, no corners have been cut.
The car is a 1989 g reg 90 spec. Its had 3 previous owners, Dave has owned it 5 yearsand it has covered 46k from new (400 miles in the last 2 years!)

Body
The body work is totally standard and the arches have not been trimmed or cut. It has been wax oiled underneath from an early age and it shows.
The car has never been welded or crashed but has seen paint on a few bits ( only to freshen up )
To stiffen up the shell after the coilovers were fitted, it has a adrenallin rear strutbrace which as been proffesionally painted black and the boot trimmed to make it look oe.
Interior
Original interior half retrimmed in top quality black leather with all metal work powdercoated black. (not a tennis cabriolet interior)

Suspension
gaz coilover shocks brand new & unused
front strut brace
rear strut brace
powder coated rear arms ( black ) and trailing rods ( white ) with power flex poly bushes
full S1 anti rollbar setup all powder coated ( black and white ) and poly bushed with rose joints on the tie rods
Had full geometry setup after fitting
Brakes
Cosworth conversion on the front done with new callipers
focus rear disc conversion done with all new parts
braided hoses front and back including in engine bay
Engine
Built by field motorsport for dave keech (cliffs1 on here for his massive s1 project)
2.1 zetec turbo
Low compression pistons
oil spray jets
Farndon steel rods
Baffled sump ( pro painted metalic grey )
Multi layer head gasket
Ported and gas flowed head with larger valves
Noble motorsport cams
American high flow inlet ( powder coated high power silver )
Modified throttle body ( ALS )
403 grey injectors
Pectel p8 with antilag
proper wrc braided loom
Apexi avcr boost controller fitted but not setup (car runs fine just running on the preload of the actuator included subject to price)
mapped by msd when in the series one on the old boost controller, (needs setting up on the AVCR but in last car made 380 brake with matching torque. I have misplaced the dyno print out)

powder coated white turbo damper
area six tubular manifold
custom magnecor coil leads with hidden coilpack and twin hidden ignition amplifiers
custom exhaust with 3.5 outward rolled pipe
grs evo 5 intercooler with custom mounting brackets
custom pace ally radiator
pace header tank in black
bailey oil breather in black
brand new bosch alternator on custom cnc machined bracket to clear the water pump
brand new starter motor
Instruments
stack big boost gauge
stack tacho and speedo
stack fuel gauge
stack water gauge
stack egt gauge
stack oil temp gauge
stack oil pressure gauge
act gauge all mounted in custom pods done by twins
Original clocks will be fitted subject to price
alpine ipod ready headunit with uprated speakers allround but looking totally standard
Wheels
17inch rondells subject to price
standard s2 alloys with nearly new tyres on
Transmission
New B&M quickshift
brand new ap racing high torque kit cost £350
S1 box with quaife diff fitted. Built by barra, has started to jump out of reverse but have the original low mileage box to use the bits from. All forward gears work, select and drive mint.
£7500k As is
minus £500 with standard alloys
minus £1k with standard dials

Lack of use due to work commitments and house move! ( 400 miles in 2 years! )
He's not too fussed if it doesn't sell, he'll just put it away for a year or two. The next stage was going to be a full nut and bolt rebuild with every single component being powder coated / painted / plated.
