Looks nice carlo! Cheap car at that too. Send the pics to my phone and I'll upload them to photobucket.

Btw, off topic, is Scott Morrison at your work driving that supercharged ST that used to come from Andy g's work?

I've never seen one of that age advertised for less than 5K so I'm surprised that you found one for that money :?

carlo 17-11-2010 04:15 PM

Paul yes mate scott has andy's old supercharged st.

carlo 17-11-2010 04:18 PM

Just a thought just because you got a cheap one dosent mean i wont get my money for mine ! i have see n what these are all advertised for & i thought it was priced at the lower end. When you consider what scrap rs turbo's are out there & such likes your getting a 06 st fiesta that most likley will never need a penny spent on it as they are not money pits these little cars.

carlo 17-11-2010 04:21 PM

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2247294.htm

Thats fair enough mate, the guy had his advertised at around £5000 then dropped it to £4500 then to £4000, and then i knocked him down a few quid because the engine wasnt starting on the key alone, and the boot button wasnt working and a few other lil niggly bits! He had it up for sale for months but never had any luck selling it untill me really!

But nevertheless good luck with your sale mate, i didnt mean to be an arsehole or anything just thought i might let ya know!

st phil 17-11-2010 07:17 PM

Seems cheap enough to me,cat d is fuck all, surprised your even mentioning it,I'd shove that on the bay and not say jack shit!

carlo 17-11-2010 08:27 PM

to be honest mate i havent bothered trying to sell it apart from on here my mate is using the car just now ! i know ive had loads of cat d cars some drove better than cars that hadnt been bumped i will see what happens ebay is a cunt sometimes i try avoid at all costs

matts1 17-11-2010 08:38 PM

I tend to find pistonheads shift them in around a week, and if not, then stick it on the autotrader as they has always seen them go in days for me.

Get the pictures sorted out though as people buying these will want to see it looking the sporty little eye catcher it is and in it's best.

As you say, cheap car and they seem to be pretty reliable, no hassles with ours in the last few years. And fair play to you for mentioning the cat D, I HATE wasting a journey to look at a car, like it then spend £20 on hpi and find it is recorded and the owner was well aware and trying to pull the wool, pisses me right off.

Easily worth that. I would say good luck but at that price you won't need it.

You'd probably get more interest if it was up at 4500!

No need for a vic/vosa check on cat d,should be very minor damage.the only record is on hpi and that's not always for certain,I bought a Saph cos years ago which came back clear then I found out later it was on the list, one of the previous owners told me!

I rang hpi and queryied it to which they said it was a mistake on their behalf and yes,it was on the register.they refused to pay me any compo as I hadn't supplied a full chassis number rather than just the reg.

I think the sellers being very honest in my eyes, looks a great car for the money as well.
