1998 (S) Volvo S40 1.6i - LONG MoT/TAXED/CHEAP WINTER HACK - SOLD
1998 (S) Volvo S40 1.6i
MoT: September 2011
Tax: December 2010
94,000 miles with some service history including a cambelt change at 70k, recently serviced at the same time it was MoT'd. Car has had new rear brake pads and brake pipes front to rear both sides for the MoT and a few other minor bits sorted as well so no major problems. Had two new front tyres in September and the rear tyres were replaced earlier this year and still have plentyof tread on them! Electric windows, central locking and WORKING air conditioning are all features of the car.
Starts first time and drives extremely well; very reliable (recently did a 1500 mile round trip to France and back with no hassle at all) and it is in daily use.
This car is virtually immaculate for its age both inside and out with only a couple of minor marks on the bodywork. NO RUST AT ALL!
Only bad point really to note is I think the ABS sensor on the O/S/F wheel was damaged when changing the brake pipes so the ABS light does come on every now and then but the brakes work fine, probably just needs a new sensor!
Private plate, as pictured on the car, is not included with the sale and it will be sold with its original 'S' registration plate back on.
Any questions then please do not hesitate to ask.
Reason for sale - Just bought an Omega V6 as a new daily.
I'm wanting £600 for it, however ANY REASONABLE OFFER WILL NOT BE REFUSED!
