For Sale is my series 2 RS Turbo. I was the eleventh owner of the vehicle in 2004 and it had a major restoration at the time. It was then featured in fast ford magazine in 2005 and then I sold the vehicle to a friend. After 4 years I have purchased the vehicle back as it was in need of sum tlc which has now been carrid out. This car has a very high spec carried out to a high standard. Before I list the spec of the vehicle I will say that the pictures do the talking of the body work. It has a slight rust bubble on roof which I had done 5 years ago and lasted this long. It has two tiny bubles where the wing joins the sctuttle panel not visable with bonnet closed. I am not interested in any part exchanges and am in no hurry to sell the car. I will accept offers on the asking price but not untill the car is viewed.

Please note the 1.8 zvh was replaced after the feature with 2.1zvh

All the engine parts have covered 5000 miles, 2.1 zvh, cosworth racing wrc con rods, arias forged, pistons, new main and big end bearings and oil pump. Focus st170 multi layer head gasket. Efi cylinder head with kent cvh 35 cam and vernier pulley. Ap racing 4 paddle clutch with heavy duty pressure plate. Level 8 cosworth ecu, 3 bar map sensor, dark green 803 injectors, custom bottom pulley and phase sensor plate. Full mongoose 3.5" stainless exhaust. Pro alloy radiator and front mount intercooler, with samco boost and water hoses. Cosworth cone filter. Mapped at engine advantages to produce 257 bhp and 303lbs/ft torque. Engine only run on castrol edge 10/60 oil and super unleaded 99oct. Suspension is koni adjustable with 25mm springs. Braking system is cosworth 4 x 4 callipers up front with 2wd discs and rear brake set up is off a 2wd sierra cosworth. Mondeo 16" alloys finished in black chrome effect. It has a clifford alarm with turbo timer and full closure but since the battery went flat before I put a new one on all the functions need reprogramming.

Looking for offers around the £3500 mark as I have found another car to purchase.

5k? no chance.mine was tidier and with 43k on clock and i sold that for 4k

Nice car but looks really high..... especially on them wheels.

Does sit a little bit high but the ride is fine, quite firm and doesnt grind the wheels on every bump you hit.

Looks spot on Tim, quick car and give a cossie a good run for it's money. Will be a good buy for someone.

BTT looking for offers around £4000 as have found something else im after now.

Cheers mate not had one bit of interest in this car! I didnt think it was over priced but like the add says 4000 ono I will move on the price if any ones serious as I need the space and have something else in the pipe line.

Bump. Someone view this car! The pictures really dont do it justice its a solid shell cant believe I have only given one test drive in 4 weeks nearly surely its not over priced?

Decided to break the car now due to lack of interest. I have one person trying to get the money together in the next two weeks if this doesnt happen then will break. I ideally would like to have a buyer for teh shell and engine before I dismantle. The engine will complete with head and if you read the spec of the internals will realise how much it cost to build. Would be looking for offers in excess of £750. The shell will complete with panels, body kit and bumpers, would be looking for offers on it. Its a very solid shell all but the small rust spot on roof. Will open a new section in parts once I have gauged interest.
