Right i have an option to buy another car. I'm fed up with a car in bits and want a complete one. Would anyone fancy anything from here? No prices yet as i have ZERO idea on that! Would have to be good money to make it worth selling.
So...
The car is a Flint Grey 2wd Sapphire Cosworth, 1990 G plate. Car is currently half way through an underside resto and I’ve been waiting for ford to get me bushes. Underside was stripped, cleaned and waxoiled. Rear beam all been powder coated black. Not on car yet!
Overall the shell is pretty good. Only bad point really would be the boot which is rusted in middle spoiler point and has come away at LHS.
Bodywork and exterior:
4x4 Bonnet
Genuine RS500 front splitter
Ford twin headlight conversion
Late spec rear lights and number plate surround
17” Compo MO’s in black. 235 rears, need to check on fronts. 2wd offset I believe as they are fine on the car. Tyres are good enough tread but rears have melt spots from rollers.
Engine:
200 block, 99, original bore, melt down so needs hone/bore.
200 block cracked across head bolt
Head fully rebuilt, brand new tappets, ground valves etc. would need to check depth
Crank on new 0.25 grind with all crank shaft bearings. Freshly done at SCS.
Crank, think standard but needs ground.
FULL gpA engine gasket set, new.
2 x set of rods
2wd sump
Inlet manifold
Exhaust manifold
Flywheel
2wd cams x2 sets
T34 with .48 housing, was new when I got car 3yrs ago. Done 2k miles tops,
-31 actuator
Stage 3 Ahmed Bayjoo chip
Dark Green 803 injectors
3 bar MAP sensor
-31 actuator
Mocal remote oil filter
Mocal in line oil thermostat
Mocal 19 row oil cooler with full braided lines and dash fittings
Group A fuel pump
Bailey Header Tank
Bailey Swirl Pot
Blue Samco/GGR hoses throughout
Candyapple blue rocker cover with breather take off
Ford Motorsport leads
Magnex exhaust with centre boxes removed.
BRAND NEW radtec 500 style ic. Never run
Transmission:
Shotpeened T5 gearbox
Short shift gear linkage
Quaife ATB differential
Brand new CWP (rebuilt by gearboxman 2000 miles ago)
Brakes:
Front - AP 4 pots, CP5000. Bleed nipple was stuck and cracked edge of caliper when removing both sides. Now been professionally fixed through Paul@NYRS. Brackets and bells for 2wd. Discs bit rusty but might skim.
AND
CP5200 calipers and brackets to fit 4x4. VGC. NO bells or discs.
Rear - AP 4 pots, 300mm discs, 1 side has a bleed screw stuck.
Twin AP brake bias valves
Hydraulic handbrake
Suspension:
Fully rose jointed front Bilstein coilovers
Tarcal strut brace
Fully rose jointed rear Bilstein coilovers, 1 is leaking slightly
Rear beam newly powder coated in black
Trailing arms again powdercoated black
BRAND NEW koni suspension not on car
BRAND NEW ahmed spec springs not on car
Interior:
Leather interior, not bad. Drivers seat usual wear but reasonable. Door cards not great.

I've written down some very conservative figures and theres £7ks worth of bits there.
ANy sensible offer over £5k and i'd maybe let the lot go. Ideally £5.5k.
Some might say im dreaming but waiting for parts to go in bits and bobs doesnt matter as money isnt the issue.

Hi mate my number is 07779790311, in honesty at the price you want it wont be any good to me, but worth it to somebody who wants to keep the car, would have to be a little cheaper to make it worth my while around £3500-£4k..ish.
