I can only start by saying my Golf GTI is one of the best out there. The condition has to be seen to be believed. Many from the Forum have seen it (Jay) (Mr Blue) and have said how it should go to shows.

The car itself drives extremely well and pulls strongly throughout all gears. Starts first time every time and has been ultra reliable. The fuel consumption is excellent returning 34.2 around town and 40.1 on motorways. She uses no oil or water. The gearbox is excellent to with no 2nd gear crunch and a smooth change throughout.

She has had a lot of work and some performance mods as listed below

Complete Jetex s/s exhaust (fitted December 07)
K&N panel filter with a modified air box (fitted December 07)
Bosch Super 4 plugs
8mm ignition leads (fitted December 07)
Chipped ECU
Koni suspension with a 40mm drop (fitted Decemebr 07)
15" Stealth alloys with Pirelli P6000 tyres fronts and Goodyears on rear.

The interior looks like it has just left the showroom. No tears or marks on any of the seats. Bolsters have no wear. Carpet is like new with MK2 GTI mats.

General maintence.....

Full reciepts of all work carried out throughout her life.
Since I have owned her ive done 2 oil changes using 10-40 semi-synth from VW. Also used VW oil filter.
Rocker cover gasket
All brether pipes cleaned
Throttle body fully cleaned
All vac hoses replaced
Weighted MK3 gear rod

At 94,449 miles (september 06) the Cambelt and tensioners were replaced aswell as both aux drive belts

Paint work is fantastic......no rust anywhere

Uprated hedlamp loom giving the lights 14.1v instead of 11.2! Also used Philips H4 bulbs (voted best bulbs by What Car....at £40 they should be!)
