Yeah they are mate just use a 5-8mm wheel spacer to get the perfect ofset..

i don't think there is 8mm differance between et40 and et35 mate i've had et37 on my car and could'nt even tell the differance.

speak to someone like reyland and ask his opinion on the different et as i don't think you will notice it on you car:top:

whats the differance between et35 and et40,is the outside of the wheel on an et35 wheel further front the lip of the arch or closer?it would be handy if i didnt have to roll my arches.

yeah et35 is closer to the arch et40 closer to your suspension

There is 5mm between et40 and et35!!!lol

Et 40 will be getting to close to the inside arch...5mm spacers will work no probs..
