Stayed in one on the Algarve 3 years ago,parents,me+missus,sis+hubby+2kids,was fantastic!
Private pool,garden etc,much nicer than staying in hotel/apts. Was huge as well. Cost a canny bit tho as we went thru a travel agent...doh!
