hi guys, i picked up some 88 spec ERST Recaro's from FITP yesterday and today went to the scrappy to get myself some Fiesta MK3.5 subframes.

Upon fitting these subframes to the seats i have encountered two problems - firstly, although the holes for the screws line up, they are about 1mm too far apart, meaning i can't get both screws on each runner into the holes in the seats. Has anyone else had this problem ?

Secondly - the screws on the subframes also don't seem to want to slot into the holes in the seats, but they will screw in ... only problem is, i think the screws are welded to the runners so i don't think there is any way that i can screw them in enough !

I'm going round to a mates house tonight to try and modify the subframes a bit, but i was under the impression its a straight fit!

If anyone has any help/tips/advice please share as i'm slightly baffled at the minute.
