I don't recall seing anything cut out of my front chasis rails but will look tommorow and confirm!
Spadgeroo, IIRC the cut outs were already 'stamped' into the shells/chassis' (they probably thought about a 4wd 3dr from the off), so it's probably such a tidy job that you just don't notice it.
