There are lots of companies that do importing for you, for a fee of course.

If it's over 30 years old, no Import duty
Then depending what car it is, VAT at either 5% or 10% on the value of the car plus shipping.
Once here it'll need lighting conversions, sometimes minor, depends on what car it is and then MOT.
Be very careful buying from photos only, there are a lot of wrecks about that look shiney and good.
Even experienced dealer/ importers get caught out.
