I don’t think the elite will put up with the torque the new big turbos produce after seeing a mates break twice with out. Id be happy to compromise and keep the revs up and down shift. I don’t see it as an issue in a road car as your pretty unlikely to meet anything as quick on 4 wheels normally

With regards to my own car as a fun toy to be used at weekends, santapod, etc with lots lots of power and a huge turbo I think it will hold it back if not going sequential (eventually)
At the same time a gearbox is really expensive people spend crazy money on a big power engine only for the gearbox to hinder it, makes no sense to me, may as well stay 500hp if sticking with a manual box, keeping it a better ‘road car’
