We do freshly painted Bentley's a lot quicker than that, but it's done day in day out, so we're tool'd up for doing the job as quick as possible.
I'm not sure I'd want a super flat finish on my car, quite happy with alittle peel, gives you alittle lee way if it ever gets damaged...
All depends what finish is required. Most of our cars are full restos and most are over 150k++ cars. A little different to a high end bodyshop. And tbh i dont like a flat finish either and yes as u say its easier to pdr or remove a scratch. Last 2 have been black so even more of a challenge to fit up without damage.
