as above-an italian tune up...
also check/replace both oil feed and drain pipes on turbo-make sure all pipework is intact-particularly the lower boost pipe-as a tiny leak will cause the turbo to overspeed trying to reach its boost threshhold.

some modern techies tend to just replace-without much of a forethought into what is the root cause of any failure-if indeed there is any...

typical example is a modern bmw m57-if it smokes at all some fitters/garages remove turbo intake pipe and see oil-hoses have oil contamination too,so they replace the turbo
the oil more often than not is from the engine breather which vents into the intake-building up after time

from what is known the 2.2 is the best of the bunch the 1.6/2.0 tdci being a bit of a pain
