I have one on my car I've had it for over a year now.
If you are getting one make sure you get it with the wiring to be able to trickle charge it.
It works well for a car being used every day but no good for a car that is stored. Mine drained my battery within about 2 weeks when the car was stored.
For the money though you really can't go wrong, but I plan on removing it and fitting an old iPhone somewhere on the car with PayGo simcard in it, constantly on charge with a hacked in car charger hooked into some unlikely wiring discreetly somehow.
If the worst happens you just credit the PayGo sim online and use the find my Iphone whatsit.
An iPhone with a non fucked battery will long outlast the Chinese tracker if they park the car and remove the car battery.
