My 3 Door the standard music was awful.
So I bought a spare set of doorcards and fitted a set of pioneer 1799 speakers into them with some pods I made, then made up a rear shelf and fitted another set of pioneer 1799 speakers to that and covered it with acoustic cloth.
Both speakers are run off an amp in the boot.
Wasnt too expensive but the difference was huge.
I would like to keep the speakers where they currently are but maybe change the mountings from 4" to house 6-7" speakers - i had a look yesterday and the speakers are 80w Alpines
just need to find adapters now if they are something that gets made?
