The box is just an ib5 with motors operating the gear selection, and a pump/module controlling the clutch. Common for the motors to seize and then cause the module to short out.
In fact had to fit some today. £450 to have them repaired (without the labour to remove/install/program up), would be £2k for new replacements parts.

I personally would avoid them
