The 1300 pistons with fit the 1600 rods ok. If you are replacing dished pistons with dished pistons you are still ok. Are you using standard AE pistons or forged because if you use standard non forged pistons you will find the piston ring lands will collapse above 6-6500 rpm because of the increased compression ratio. Its a good way for good tourque increase but it depends on your pistons, for reliability. As for your camshaft you will be ok.

Also what are you using your engine for ? road, race etc

The piston ring lands are what the rings sit on i.e the thin alu part in between each ring.
