I took a 52 plate ST170 in which owes me around £1400. It is 95% mint apart from the usual light stonechips on the bonnet here and there. Just had major service and cambelt kit, waterpump etc, taxed, motd , service history, Its the top spec 3 door model with xenons, full leather recaros. On ebay the same go for around 2k... So i listed it starting at 1400.. and nothing.. one offer of ' a grand cash now innit mate ' and nothing else. I hoped to have made a bit of profit on it but not one glimmer of hope. Then saw a ropey 54 plate basic spec St170 sell for £1600 a few days later. It seems people dont appreciate a good example its all about getting the car you want for the minimal amount of cash yet when they come to view it theyre upset if its not showroom condition!
