Fair point chaps... i was hoping i could achieve better than standard cossie power with not too much difficulty.
I can do all the mechanical stuff myself, thats why i wanted the carbs, but i could use the standard setup however the loom was melted and i'll have to get a replacement now if i go down that route.
I just figured seeing as i wanted to take it apart and overhaul it anyway it'd be worth putting some better stuff in cos i could be more proud of it.
I dont like doing things half way and then wishing i'd done more.
I did that with my xr2 home modified 1.8cvh, i could launch to 60 in one shot in 2nd, but, i should've turbo'd it with hindsight.
But hey, 200+hp in a sierra's gonna be fun innit!
