Fair enough... i aint gonna see 300 am i ? !
And i want to keep it semi reliable with weber carbs on.
I'll lighten the +1mm pistons and grind off any excess metal on the rods (balanced of course) with high tensile nuts and bolts etc
Balance the crank (possibly lightened aswell)
Skim the flywheel and balance it
Grind and polish up the ports in the heads and skim them for slightly better compression
Grind some out of the exhaust manifolds, and hoping to get some side exit high flow jobbies made up for me
I'll cut a hole in the bonnet for fresh air on the carbs
And i need a modified piece loom for the ignition which ive not really looked into yet... thats questionable at the moment
But after all this, am i still lookin at pretty standard output or do you think it'll unleash?
cos i did all this to a 1.8cvh in a xr2 years ago and it was pretty mental, almost dangerous, lighting it up in 3rd off roundabouts
