Thanks a lot for the comments people, much appreciated.
Here are a few pics of building up the car:
Before we shortened the axle ^
Got a local trimmer to come an do the carpet at our place, its come out well enough for the show but is only temporary. I'm getting a custom carpet made very soon. The trimmer's are 50 miles away an needed the car 2 days, so it just wasn't an option last week.
All the door cards were trimmed in Alcantara, as well as the Dash top and steering column.
Engine in, and fitted a 4WD manifold for better clearance.
Roll Cage In.
Cam Cover painted and fitted, as well as the strut brace etc. The slam panel we had to extend and modify to get the rad in and out, an was only painted saturday morning, so we didn't have a chance to polish it.
Loaded up ready to go.
I didn't manage to get any decent pics at Classic Ford cause my phone died saturday night an didn't manage to charge it till the afternoon, but here are a few. Some people I went with got some pics, so I'll upload some more when I can.
Interior, excuse the shitty gearknob, I tried getting a 2WD Sierra one but ran out of time, so I borrowed a Ford one off a mate's KA, its only temporary!! The dash pod came loose as well, but luckily wasn't too noticeable.
Engine Bay.
The car got a great response, much better than I was expecting, which was good! The car is by no means done yet, but I think we done well considering we only painted it a week ago and had 4 days to fit it together!
I'd like to get the car driving and all done by Ford Fair, but we'll see how it goes. The most important things to get done at the moment are getting the Rear Axle Rebuilt, all running gear together with the engine running, have a carpet made, a bespoke stainless manifold, an a few other bits. The steering column needs adjusting as well, as its slightly offset.
I'll get some better pics up soon as I can.
