When i had my engine rebuilt a few months back i couldn't get hold of a genuine oil pump so ended up getting a burton hp pump . I know i know they are crap and its been bugging me for ages now so ive managed to finally find a genuine one at good money

Now my question is , do i really need a high pressure oil pump ? And is it really worth faffing about with a brand new genuine oil pump if theres no real point ?
