the fittings all seem to be hideously expensive! theres no middle ground, just top of the line kit, or nothing
iv done my fuel system with new genuine ford hoses at the tank end of the car, the standard metal undercar fuel lines, and then just some decent quality rubber hose from there to the accumulator, the standard plastic lines from there on, and a rubber fuel hose made up for the return to the metal lines, for fittings on to the accumulator and the return, i butchered the old standard plastic lines, removed the metal fittings, and jubilee clipped my rubber fuel hose to this. looks neat enough, and nice n cheap too!
im not a cheapskate by any means, my full brake system is done in braided and stainless fittings. but the cost to do similar for the fuel system was stupidly more expensive!
