I should have updated this long ago !
Car is on the road as of about late january.
The injectors were partly blocked, but the main prob was the fuel pressure reg.
Once that was sorted the car ran fine.
All the mechanical work has basically been completed, including a new alternator which failed on the day of the pits inspection, just like the turbo did !!
I intend to fit a new 6 plate clutch as I have no idea of the condition of the existing clutch and distances are so big here in WA that a 100 km trip could mean passing through maybe one small village and a couple of petrol stations.
I need it to be reliable so the clutch will be done soon.
I have the wheels off and being refurbished, should be back this coming saturday and I'm having them shod with Toyo Proxes R888's so it will be OK for the track and road.
