Insurance companies aint interested if its taxed or mot'd, as long as you pay them.
If you drive the car illegally, insurance will be nul and void anyway, so they cant lose.

I only asked as id heard the insurance database is all interlinked to dvla,vosa an the like, so assumed if one knows something they all will....

Gonna try the dvla again tomorrow just to hear what they have to say, if in
