3D lettering is actually legal as well so defo the logo on the side, although I was under the impression if the plate was made pre-2006 then it was ok (coppers have no way of checking if it was made after 2006 until its an 2006--> car).

I've had a slightly smaller plate using the correct font on both front and back of the merc and never had a problem.

I received an email from my supplier and they can now supply flexible plastic plates which meet the BS standard for plastic, another possibility?
