to be fair as long as there not knackered they should be too loud ive never really had a issue with any of mine.
Also solid ones can be a pain to set and they need to be checked after a while to make sure there still where they should be. If done wrong you will just end up snapping them.

Pros and cons for both really but i would only use solid ones if i had a mental spec engine.
