I am fitting a N/A cossie into my mk2 escort rally car I have finally got round to restoring. I have dummy fitted a block to a T5 gearbox and mounted it on pinto world cup engine mounts. The problem I have is that the gearstick hole is to close to the handbrake. has anyone else fitted a T5 box to a Mk2? Is this where it should be or have I got the engine mounts wrong and the whole lot needs to come forward. Any help would be appreciated
