It can be worth it if you buy the right stuff. I've done it in the past. It can be a lot of hassle at the low end of the market though. I've just bought a MK2 Mondeo Ghia X for not a lot that I might well break when I'm finished with it. Though I'd sooner sell it complete to save hassle to be honest. It's having space to keep the parts really.

I can understand to a degree why people break big project cars, but at the same time, I don't really see the point, as it does seem a bit of a waste, especially when they do it as soon as they're finished.

At the end of the day, cars are my hobby, I don't do it to make money, I do it because I enjoy it!
