Default My first mk2 cortina... few questions about suspension etc.

Hi all, just got my hands on a mk2 cortina 1500 super, lagoon blue, 1967 model.

have stripped it all down to a rolling shell so i can start doing a full weld up on it, and as for rot... it isnt looking bad at all.

what i want to know is about suspension lowering and stiffening. ive just spent the last hour searching forums, google etc, seen a couple of posts about coilovers, rs2000 springs, capri leafs on rear etc. but nothing that actually gives a proper answer.

im not looking at racing the car, just more of a cruiser that sits nice, so would be thinking of polybushes all round, stiffer dampers all round, lowering blocks at rear and lowering springs on front, but i cant find out what to use or where to get any from anywhere
can you guys help?

this is my first proper oldskool ford, the oldest previous being a mk3 escort 3i, so alot different in alot of respects.

hope you guys can help, thanks. Aaron.
