Loads and loads of views, and not 1 person could be bothered to reply.

So I stuck with the blue oval

I agree mate, my daily driver is an old e36, bimmerforums is just hopeless!

Fair comments rob,I only suggested the pace as he said on a budget and would temporarily suffice his needs
good point mate,

can i ask if my fuel pump decides to shit itself will can this damage any thing else on my car or will it just cut out? cheers again Neil
yes and no, if it does it off load and fail's completely, no.... If it fails at full boost then possibly. Mixture would go really lean etc.

Hello, mine made 202 bhp wih 18psi boost, pace chargecooler, mongoose exhaust, -31 actuator, k&n filter and a good setup. Fuelling is fine with MFI and it chatters. Scorpion exhausts were proven to be restrictive on Series 2's. Pace intercoolers can handle about 190 horses, other options have been already mentioned. You need to think long and hard about transmission issues. Most of the series 2 people on here have spent many an hour doing gearboxes. I got a stage 1 from www.gearboxman.co.uk and got an ap organic clutch. You also need to consider handling, I got a spax adjustable kit off ebay that was 6 months old for 190 quid which has been spot on round track
All good points there! i think its the back box on the scorpions that supposedly cause the restriction, don't think its overly drastic tho. Mine chattered on mfi too but genuinely off boost fueling will be well on the rich side... it physically has to be for fueling to be correct on boost.
