recently had problems with my fuel gauge , full all the time ?

removed fuel sender and opened the unit - the wires were pulled off the board. This has two wires going to it

no problem , i have most of the parts of a junked xr3 in my store room

but alas , the unit i have is a single wire unit

any idea how to get the single wire unit to work on the two wires loom?
